SO sorry to hear of the passing of Sylvia and Gabby. They made a lasting impression on me and my pursuit toward music. I was a regular for about 2 years at the Wagon wheel and shortly after left Michigan to go to Nashville. Thank you Gabby and Sylvia for giving me a place to make amaazing friends and sing my heart out. You were both amazing people. Sylvia Jo and I worked together a few times, but mostly we were busy with our own bands, going our separate ways.We never had the chance to be gal pals, but,she was my friend. I know she has done a lot for country music in and around the Flint area.I had the priviledge and honor of anouncing her credentials and bringing her on-stage to accept her"Hall of Fame" induction award. She certainly does deserve it. She will be missed.
Till we meet again, Pat Levely

Sylvia Jo was more then just a friend she was family to me. She encouraged me to let my voice be heard and she even gave me my first job as a kj for kiddie karaoke. She was always behind the teens that frequented kiddie karaoke and always opened her doors for us. Thank you for everything you did for me.

Sylvia and Gabby played music around Flint and other places as I did back in "The Day". I have known them both a very long time, and counted them among my friends and fellow musicians. It seem that we are Leaving here slowly, one by one, and we shall all be missed by those that remember us. I remember both Sylvia and Gabby and certainly do miss them. My condolences and sympathy to the Loved ones they leave behind. There will be a big jam session and guitar pull somewhere someday, and we shall meet again! RIP
