Olga Garcia
Olga Garcia, 65, of Madison, passed away Monday. Mrs. Garcia was born in Salto, Uruguay, and raised her brothers and sisters. She saved enough money to purchase a plane ticket to the U.S. Mrs. Garcia was the first of her family to move to the States. She opened and ran a successful auto parts business for 25 years. After selling the business, she went back to school to earn two master's degrees in Education and Psychology. She taught elementary school in Queens, NY. Education and family were Mrs. Garcia's passions.
Survivors include her sons, Luis, Ivan and David.
A memorial service will be held in Florida on Saturday, August 18, 2012. Laughlin Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
