Clare Whitman Obituary
CLARE RAYMOND JR.
Age 83, of Fenton, died September 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Clare was born December 27, 1928 in Brighton, the son of Clare Raymond and Leona (Martin)Whitman. Surviving are: children, Nancy Ray, Stacie (Robert) Caster, Marcie Carpenter, Brian Whitman, Barry Whitman, Vicki (Dan) Hawes; 10 grandchildren, Gary (Andrea), Christy, Jennifer (Charles), Hollie, Megan, Robert, Shawn, Brandon, Jeremy, Nicole; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Steiner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; brother, Cedric. Online condolences may be posted on the obituaries page of

My thoughts and prayers are with Clare's family. It was my complete pleasure to get to know him, and do whatever I could for him while he was in Fenton Healthcare. I will miss him terribly, and will keep his children in my thoughts.
