CHARLOTTE DRAIN CATES

CATES, CHARLOTTE DRAIN age 72, of Alabaster, AL, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012. Charlotte, one of God's obedient servants, passed away reading her Bible. She faithfully served the Lord and is resting in His arms. She was a member of Church of the Highlands-RC. She was a Captain of the greeter team. She was also a minister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Cates; her parents Doris and Oliver Drain and her sister, Patricia Carr. She is survived by her son, JoPaul Cates; her step son, Louie (Debby) Cates; her daughter, Nettie Dudley of Alabaster; step daughter, Louise (Arnold) Jones; her grandchildren, Eric Dudley and Cameron Cates; her brothers, Ronald and George Drain. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Helena City Cemetery. Rev. Blake Lindsey will be officiating.
