FISHER (HOYE), HATTIE JOAN
Flint
Age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in El Paso, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Genesee Road Church of God,
G-4344 North Genesee Road, Pastor Bruce J. Badder officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. Fisher will be at the church from 1 p.m. Monday until the time of the service. Joan was born in Rector, Arkansas, the oldest of 8 children on November 28, 1932. Joan married the love of her life, Robert Fisher on July 18, 1977. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and her grandchildren. Joan was a member of the Genesee Road Church of God for 34 years. Joan is survived by her children, Lynn (Kay) Shelton, Terry (Tim) Shelton, Glee Shelton, Dawn (Mike) Stafford, Debi (Bill) Beaver,
Bob (Cindy) Fisher and Danny (Laura) Fisher; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fisher; her parents, Bertha and Walter Hoye, Sr. and her siblings, June and Bill Hoye. Those wishing to make donations in lieu of flowers, please donate to a hospice of your choice in Joan's honor. Your condolences may be shared with the family at
