LOIS ELAINE
Age 77, of Fenton, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice. Lois was born May 16, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of Martin Bernard and Marguerite Anthony (Nixon)
Collins. She married John E. "Jack" DeCew May 2, 1953 in Flint and he preceded her in death December 7, 2011. She had resided in Fenton since 1975 coming from Grand Blanc/Flint. She was a member of Spring Meadows Country Club. Lois enjoyed boating, traveling, wintering in Briny Breezes, FL and most of all her family and friends. Surviving are: 2 children, Michael and
wife Judy DeCew of Superior, CO and Lori and husband Brad Keller of Fenton; 4 grandchildren, Alison Keller, Emily Keller, Christine DeCew O'Neill, and Kyle and wife Amanda Sanborn; 2 great grandchildren, Abigail and Ryan; sister, Mary Foote
of Grand Blanc; sister-in-law, Linda DeCew of Suttons Bay; several nieces and nephews; best friends, Darlene Lozuaway of Fenton, Beverly Mosher
of Salem, OH, and numerous other close friends. She was also preceded in death by her
parents; sister, Pat Abernathy; sister-in-law, Donna Maata. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page of

Thoughts of Aunt Lois will always & forever bring a smile to my face, warmth in my heart & a laugh with a memory of one of her many jokes. She will be greatly missed by all that knew & loved her but never forgotten.

She was one of the nicest people we have ever met and I loved how she liked her Blue Jeans she will be missed and she is again with Jack. Prayers ti her family she will be missed
