Joseph Dunlap Obituary

Joseph Vincent Dunlap, Jr. (Joe-Pa), of Oxford, Pa., formerly of Malvern , Pa. Joe Dunlap of Oxford, Pa, formerly of Malvern, died on Sat. Dec. 8, 2012 surrounded by friends and family. Joe was the son of Joseph Vincent Dunlap, Sr. of New Jersey and Mary Ray of Malvern, both deceased. Joe is survived by a daughter, Kelly McGuigan, three grandchildren, a sister Anne Stauffer of Ephrata, and a brother William Dunlap of Florida. Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Oxford and the Italian American Citizens League of Kennett Square. Joe enjoyed golfing and lived and breathed for Notre Dame football. Joe served in the U.S. Army from 1965-1967 when he was honorably discharged. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Joe was an active member of his community, a loyal friend, a supportive father, and a loving grandfather. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. A Mass to celebrate Joe's life will be held at St. Peter Parish, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, PA 19320 on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. with a calling hour at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall Street, Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380.
