59 years ago I meat my best friend Dave Talarico. A week after meeting Dave I meat his dad John. Over the following 20 or so years Dave & I learned many lessons from John. Some were good & some were not so good, you see Dave & I got our selfs in a lot of different situations, some were good & some were not so good but John was always there for us. He had a great way explaining the do's & don't s of life. Thanks John for all the lessons & being my 2nd dad for many years.

Phil and I have lived on Blanchard for over 20 years and we have wonderful neighbors. In the year 2000, I met Dort and Tony who lived just down the street from us. It was at that time and because of them, that Phil and I really felt like we were a part of this neighborhood and community. I have missed the neighborly interaction that Dort and I had, and now, I will miss this genuinely sweet and gentle man. I loved running into gramps and Jon at VG's and they would often times pop into my driveway for a quick and pleasant greeting before they would run off to take care of their "to do" list. Tony always had a delightful smile. He was a character who had character, and he is leaving an indelible foot print on my heart. Rest in peace, Mr Talarico. I hope that you and my Dad have met by now, and are enjoying each others company. To the Talarico family, please know that Phil and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers, and that we will be here for you in the difficult days to come.
