MARGARET TITUS "Peg" DEKKER

DEKKER MARGARET "Peg" TITUS DEKKER passed away on February 6, in Granville, OH. Peg graduated from Denison University in 1951 and lived in Warrensville Hts., then Lake Lucerne and Tanglewood for more than 50 years, before moving to Kendal at Granville. She was extremely active in many educational and charitable organizations, especially the Girl Scouts. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law; David Titus and Page Dekker and Robert Olney and Barrie Dekker; her younger sister, Louise Berry; six grandchildren, Nick, Mason, Connor, Reese, Tommy and Olivia and two great grandchildren, Jacob and Blake. A memorial service will be held for Peg in Granville on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Granville, followed by a Commemoration of Life reception at 2:30 p.m. at Kendal at Granville. A celebration of Peg's life will also be held at the Spahr Center of the First Baptist Church, 3630 Fairmount Blvd., Shaker Heights on March 10, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. It will be preceded by a recital of her favorite hymns in a compendium by her nephew Timothy Smith on the Skerritt Cumming organ in the church sanctuary.
