I have so many sweet memories of Mrs. Shamburger. She was an inspiration to all of us at Mt. Zion and her spirit will be with us for a lifetime. Let's celebrate the life of this dynamic woman and I thank God for the role she played in helping me to become the woman that I am today.

God is so good to have blessed this world with Evelyn Shamburger, as reflected in her beautiful family.
My prayer for you today, and in the days to come, is that you will take comfort from the Good News of God's Word where Paul said in 2 Timothy 4:7-8, "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness...." I believe with every ounce of my being that Mrs. Shamburger is just fine, because Matthew 11:28 reminds us to “Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and ‘I' will give you rest.” And as you grieve, please know you are not alone. God's heart for you is full of hope, love and peace ... and so are our prayers for you during this time of bereavement.
