Paula Valerio

VALERIO, PAULA F. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Valerio, 75, passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at McLaren-Bay following a brief illness with her family at her side. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 23, 1937 to the late Leon and Augustina (Mares) Flores. She married Domingo Valerio and he preceded her in death in March of 2012. She was retired from Made Rite Potato Chip Company and owned and operated Paula's Mexican Restaurant. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Paula loved cooking, crocheting, and going to the casinos. The greatest love and part of her life was her children, grand children and great grand children. She is survived by four children, Jesse (Penny) Valerio, Juanita Valerio, Deborah Valerio and Lydia (Michael) Lesperance; seven grandchildren Christopher, Sarah, Chelby, Anthony, Steven, Ethan and Hannah; five great grand children David, Tomas, Logan, Sophia and Carson; brothers and sisters, Albert (Diane) Flores, Jesse (Denise) Flores, Velia Flores and Helen (Frank) Veasquez. She was predeceased by a son Daniel Valerio, three brothers Leon, Frank and Fred; a sister Racel & Thoms Martinez and a nephew Thomas (Tommy) Flores. The Valerio Family will greet friends on Wednesday at the Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm at the funeral chapel with Jane Gregorczyk presiding with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
