Fred Boring Obituary

BORING, FRED GERALD

Mr. Fred Gerald Boring, age 80, died of respiratory failure Tuesday, September 29, 2013 at home. Born in Flint, MI, on July 24, 1933, he came to Winter Haven from Millington, MI, in 1987. He worked for General Motors Corp., in die try out and was a member of the UAWCIO. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the American Legion Post #8 in Winter Haven. He was of
Protestant faith. Mr. Boring is survived by his sons, Fred G. Boring, Jr., Charlotte, MI; Richard B. Boring, Yorktown, VA; brother, John B. Boring, Rose City, MI; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Crisp-Coon Funeral Chapel Winter Haven. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
