Our beloved mother, Louise Hill, age 93, of Grand Blanc, died peacefully, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at home. She was born March 18, 1920 in Durand, the daughter of Charles H. Hall and Gertrude Somers Hall. She married Clarence W. Hill on August 31, 1940. They had 68 beautiful years together. Louise is survived by children Nancy (Andy) Rheude of Grand Blanc, David (Doris) Hill of North Branch; grandchildren, Robert Hill of New York City, Peter (Heather) Hill; and great-granddaughter Camille Claire Hill of Bradenton, FL; brother Robert (Phyllis) Hall of Grand Blanc; many nieces and nephews including Pat (Carl) Lundgren of Portsmouth NH, Gail(David) Areaux of Jerome, MI, Susan (Dan) Lechota of Davison, Ronald Secord of Sun City, AZ and Carole Billig of North Branch, and the special friends and caregivers of Right at Home including Ramona Castillo and Charlena McClain. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Visitation will occur from 11AM to Noon. The Funeral Service will be at Noon. A luncheon will be served following the Funeral Service. Louise with her husband Clarence founded the Hill Funeral Home in 1946. Louise belonged to the 20th Century Club and the Grand Blanc Chapter #507 Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah's. She was soloist for the 1st Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak, the 1st Church of Christ, Scientist of Flint and the Grand Blanc United Methodist Church and provided music for many local functions like the Grand Blanc Schools Christmas Program.
