Ethelyn May Robinson, age 86, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born May 1, 1927 in Grand Rapids, MI, a daughter of Charles H. and Rhea M. (Morse) Barnum. Lyn attended Michigan State University and worked for many years as an administrative assistant at US Plywood Company. She had remained an active member of the MSU Alumni Association. Lyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rex R. Robinson and two brothers, Richard Barnum and Charles Barnum. Surviving are: three children, Terrence "Terry" (Cathy) Brennan of Kalamazoo, Melba Jean Brennan of Akron, OH and Byron Bruce (Joyce) Brennan of Lansing; step-son, Jim (Brenda) Rowland of Glendale, AZ; four grandchildren, Kelly Marie Brennan; Katie Brennan (James P.) Eichstaedt, Betsy (Matt) Crippen and James Brennan; two step-grandchildren, Kyle and Andrew Rowland; four great-grandchildren, Brennan James Eichstaedt, Matthew Crippen, Jr., Laura Crippen and Michelle Crippen; a sister, Mary Lou Bateman of Gull Lake, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Lyn's family will meet guests beginning at 1 PM Friday afternoon, April 11, 2014, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street where a memorial service will be held at 2 PM.
