Beatrice Sutliffe Obituary

Sutliffe, Beatrice Janet Mrs. Beatrice Janet "Bea" Sutliffe of Hastings, Michigan, age 96, passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was born to Clum and Edith (Dake) Hole on Friday, October 11, 1918, in Boyne City, Michigan. Bea was a loving and devoted wife, wonderful mother, dear sister and friend, and the best grandmother anyone could ask for. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by friends, family, and all those who knew her. Bea is survived by her loving children Merwin Stout, Sharon (Tom) Umlor, John Stout, Raymond Sutliffe, and Janet Morgan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Helen Twiss, Betty (Lee) Scrivner, Art (Connie) Hole, and Tom (Kate) Hole; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband George Ford Sutliffe in 1974; grandson Thomas Herblet in 2005; and siblings, Irene, Jessie, Mike, Raymond, Frank, Elmer, Edward, and Fred. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2015, at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49341. The funeral service for Bea will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015, at Pederson Funeral Home. There will also be a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will be at Blythefield Memory Gardens. Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
