I was saddened and shocked to learn of Matt's passing. Matt was a delightful young man and quickly became one of my dearest friends. I will always remember his amazing smile and our camping trips to Gulf Shores. Rest in Peace, Matt. I love you dear friend.

I am thankful to God for all the good times He allowed me to have with Matthew during his short lifetime. I am also thankful to my Uncle Dan, Aunt Missy, Michael and Mandy for allowing Matt and I to spend our childhood summers together. As we grew older, we still spent a lot of time together, and I have a lifetime of memories that I will hold dear in my heart. Matt was my cousin, my best friend, my brother. I feel his presence each day and I know that he is looking down upon us all, and that he is watching over us. As we struggle to deal with the heartbreak, we have to remember that our loss was Heaven's gain.
Rest in Peace Matt. I will always love you.

Words can not express how saddened and sorry I am to hear about Matthew. Matthew was a student in my 5th grade class at Kate Shepard. He was truly a wonderful young man with a beaming smile and wonderful personality to match. He got quite a kick out of living across the street from my parents in Marchfield and would tell the class how he got to swim in their pool in exchange for walking the dog. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
