Howard C. Lienhart

Lienhart, Howard C. Of Jackson, passed away at home under the care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice at the age of 91 years. Survived by his sister, Genevieve Cavins and one brother, Louis (Romana) Lienhart; nieces and nephews, Billy, Bobby, Mike, Jeannette, Phil, Tom, Jeanne, Rose, Alan, Larry, Anna, Nancy, David, Dennis, Chris, Steve, Paul, little Gennie, and Cecile; many grandnieces and grandnephews; and best friend, Richard Lukasik. Preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (O'Leary) Lienhart and his five brothers, Charlie, Vincent, Benny, Arthur, and Harold. Howard retired from Clark Equipment. He was an avid reader and an active volunteer at St. Vincent dePaul. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #8392. Mr. Lienhart is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Robert Pienta officiating. Private interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. Contributions to St. Vincent dePaul Society or Great Lakes Hospice would be appreciated.
