Deacon Jessie Jemison Jr.

Deacon Jessie Jemison, Jr., was born to the union of Alice Weston Jemison Jessie Jemison, Sr., on February 23, 1952, in Foley, Alabama. Jessie attended school in Foley, Alabama. He was employed at Sonat Oil Company for 18 years. He leaves to cherish his memories a very devoted wife, Bettye Jemison, one devoted son: Jessie Tremaine Jemison, one devoted daughter: Kawandia (Shawnn) Kindred, of Birmingham, Alabama. Six grandchildren, two sisters: Laura (Dan) Jackson, and Magnolia Jemison, two brothers: Jeffery (Ann) Jemison, and Larry (Brenda) Jemison, three aunts: Ophelia Weston, Catherine Goodwin, and Dora Dawson, a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10am until the 12pm funeral hour, from Southside Missionary Baptist Church, Foley, Alabama. Interment will be held at Southside Cemetery.
