Peter A. Viscomi POMPANO BEACH, FL Peter A. Viscomi, 73, formerly of Alpha, NJ, passed away on May 23, 2017, at his residence in Pompano Beach, FL. Born on Dec. 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Nicholas Viscomi and Bessie Gazzana Viscomi. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Regina Frinzi Viscomi. Peter was a self-employed barber in Alpha and previously worked at the Mall Barbershop in the Hillcrest Mall in Phillipsburg. He was a member of St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church and the Alpha Volunteer Fire Company, as well as the Huntington Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Seiss Viscomi; two sons, Peter Viscomi and wife Darline, of Clinton, NJ, and Nicholas Viscomi of Palmer Township, PA; grandchildren, Nicole and Alexandria Viscomi, and great-grandchild, Vincenzo Viscomi. Additionally, Peter is survived by two sisters, M. Joan Curto and Lucille Reyda, both of Easton, PA, as well as nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 30, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 2nd Ave., Alpha, NJ, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, beginning at the funeral home at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 So.
