Mildreg Cameron Hamilton

Mildreg Cameron Hamilton, age 98 of Birmingham passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She entered Heaven along with her favorite evangelist, Billy Graham. She loved to listen on a weekly basis to the ministry and services at The First Baptist Church of Gardendale. She was active in the Northeast Branch of the YMCA where she was a member of the Silver Sneakers. She also danced and taught dancing at The Shepherd Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Lillian Cameron; her husband, Walter Kenton Hamilton; a daughter, Janet Hamilton Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hamilton Vickers (Dane); 4 grandchildren, Briana Williams Condrey (Keith), Cara Williams Matthews (Mike), Jonathan Kenton Vickers (Brandi) and Christopher Dane Vickers; 6 great grandchildren, Michaela Lynne Matthews, Janet Katelyn Condrey, Christopher Evan Condrey, Kenton Thomas Vickers, Halle Addison Vickers and Averee Brooke Vickers. Special thanks to all the girls at Magnolia Village Assisted Living; the staff at Magnolia Ridge and last but not least, Southeast Hospice. Pallbearers will be Wayne Galloway, Gary Tucker, Hayden Powers, Keith Condrey, Stuart Kirby and John Bell. Honorary pallbearer is Richard Tucker. Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 11am until 12pm at East Lake United Methodist Church followed by a funeral service at 12pm at the church.
