Pierzchala, Anthony Mr. Anthony "Tony" Pierzchala, age 61 of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord Friday November 16, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Valentine and Jennie, his brother Valentine (Butch), and his sisters Kathy Magarell and Christina Stankus. Surviving are: his loving wife of 35 years Jennifer; his children John (Jen-Marie), Joseph, Timothy, Patricia, and Donald Vinton; grandson Noah; many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. Tony passed away doing what he loved, hunting. He was an avid guitarist, loved playing with his friend Rodger and many other musicians, and his musical talent will be missed by all. He always encouraged others, especially his kids, to follow their dreams. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday November 21, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, where he will repose one hour prior to Mass. The family will receive visitors Tuesday November 20, from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW. The rosary will be prayed Tuesday at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

Very sorry to hear. My mom's best friend for over 60 years was Mary Pierzchala, Tony's aunt who worked at Herps. I can remember going to his fathers house on Gunnison. My parents gave Mary an old oak book case that the glass was missing on one side and Tony helped us carry it in. My thoughts go out to a very nice family.

Tony I did not know that talking with you outside at sacred heart club on pulaski days this year was the last time we would talk. You were so nice always friendly and it was always nice seeing you and talking at family fare. You will truly be missed! Jenny and family I'm so sorry for your loss.
