Sherrie Harrell Obituary

Sherrie D. Harrell, 60, of Chesapeake, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 26, 2018. She has been united with her father Bob Moore in Heaven. Born in Astoria, Ore. and settling in Chesapeake, VA, she graduated from Oscar Smith H.S. in 1976. She was a devoted mother with a cheerful heart. A single mother, she raised three kids, held a full-time and part-time job while putting herself through college. Loyal to her job of 32 years, she started off in maintenance and worked up to office manager. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Ginger Benton; three children, Jennifer, Curtis, Brandon(Laura) Harrell; three granddaughters, Brianna, Aleesia, Paisley Harrell; three brothers, Allen(Pat), Terry(Pam), and Blane Moore; and her cat, Shadow. A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Oman Funeral Home, 653 Cedar Road, on Thursday, November 29, at 12 pm. Family and friends are invited to share memories and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com
