Sally Peltier

Holland: Sally Peltier (formerly Sally Hersey) 76, of Lakeridge Drive, passed away peacefully at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Peltier in February of 2014.
Sally will be greatly missed by her daughter and son in law Lori and Peter Goodreau of Holland, grandson and granddaughter Joe and Jamie Bousquet. She also leaves her brother William B. Read Jr., and his wife Jean of Bangor, ME as well as a nephew and niece. She was beloved by her friends at Holland Congregational Church and the Holland Senior Center.
She was born in Springfield, MA (Sally Read) the daughter of William and Elinor Read. She graduated from the former Technical High School in Springfield and the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at Roger L Putnam Vocational School, also in Springfield. Sally retired from Wesson Women’s Hospital in Springfield and finished her career at Mediplex of East Longmeadow.
Sally enjoyed reading and watching old movies and spending time with her friends at the senior center and at her weekly bible study. She loved animals and cherished her dog Lola and cat Sammy.
A Memorial/Celebration of Life service will be held at the Holland Congregational Church on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA or Here Today, Adopted Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary, in Brimfield, MA.
Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge is directing arrangements.
