Eugene Butler Obituary
Native Staten Islander, loving father
Eugene Kenneth (Butch) Butler, 67, passed away on Feb. 6, 2019. He was a native Staten Islander.
Eugene worked with his father at Mobil Car Service before driving for Pioneer School Busses, where he worked for over 35 years. He also worked as a bartender at Butler's Bar & Restaurant in Rossville.
When he was younger, he liked to golf. He also enjoyed playing the Lotto and other games. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially time at the family house in the Poconos.
Eugene loved his pets, Jake and Coco, who were his constant companions. He was larger than life and a great friend to many who knew him and loved him. He had a mischievous sense of humor and sometimes came up with the craziest remarks. He will be missed immensely.
He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis. He was a loving, great father to his only daughter, Jennifer. He is also survived by his brother, John, and sister, Susan, a niece, Kristin, and a nephew, Michael.
Funeral is from Bedell-Pizzo Funeral Home on Monday at 10:30; Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
