Dear Cheryl and family,

I worked with Bruce at GM for over 30 years. He was a set up man on the micro-matic gage machines. A good worker and and loyal member of UAW Local 467. Bruce and I also served on the Fire-Emergency Response Team. I know he sold fire equipment through his Two Rivers Fire Equipment. He also served with the Edenville Twp Fire and I believe as Assistant Fire Chief. We had a lot of things in common and were very good friends. Lost track of him after we retired. He was a good, hard working and dedicated individual. Also a lot of fun.
Very Sorry for your loss. I will post his obituary at the 467 Retiree Board at the union hall. Take care and best to all the family
Sincerely,
Larry Prueter

Bruce and I were close friends on the YMCA and AHHS swim teams. We had a lot of good times together. I can remember going over 100 mph on the back of his 750cc Honda, and consuming a large Little Caesars pizza with him following a swim meet on Friday nights. He was good friend and great man that your family can be very proud of. God bless you, Bruce.

To Cheryl and the family, I was very sorry to hear of Bruce's illness and passing. His mother was my dad's sister. In the 1950's, as small children my sister and brother and I would occasionally spend time at the house on Marquette when our parents were away. We always enjoyed our cousins Judy, Dick and Bruce, though there was an age difference. Bruce's brother Dale passed away unexpectedly during one of those times. I also remember the night that we got the call that Saki ("Slim")passed away. Regretfully we all drifted apart after the Saginaw days, but there are still fond memories of the Neymeiyer family. Best wishes, Ron Dankert, Ann Arbor
