Jimmie Roy Moree

Jimmie Roy Moree - a native of Washington Parish, LA and a resident of Mobile, AL since June 1975, died Monday, May 18, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Moree was a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Coast Guard, and retired from the U.S. Navy. He also retired from the U.S. Customs Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Sidney and Myrtis Moree, and five siblings. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosemarie Bronold Moree; three children, Kathryn Moree (Drew) Nelson, John Sidney (Phaly) Moree, and Joseph Roy Moree; two sisters, Jackie Stephens and Jeannette (Tommy) Crumby; five grandchildren, Michael Nelson, Nicholas Nelson, Jacob Nelson, Parker Moree, and Marylois Moree; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Travis Burnett as celebrant. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
