Bell, Thomas E. "Tom" MUSKEGON Thomas E. Bell, age 69, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 24, 2020. He was born on June 7, 1951 to Oran and Frances (Hughson) Bell in Muskegon, MI. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a member at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Tom was a dedicated employee at American Coil Spring as a machine operator until he retired in 2006. On May 9, 1981 he married the love of his life Leah Carr in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 39 years of memories filled with love and laughter. Tom had a passion for museums and loved being a volunteer on the Milwaukee Clipper. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent every opening morning at his favorite spot, Harper Swamp. He always wanted to be remembered by the unconditional love that he had for his children and grandchildren. His easy going, generous and compassionate personality. He was the type of man who would always put others first and was always dependable. Tom also had a strong-willed personality that was balanced with a jokester like sense of humor. His comforting and loving nature towards others will truly be missed. He is survived by his wife, Leah Bell; 2 children, William (Leigha) Bell and Nicole (Ken) Boroff; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Bell, Kenneth, Kenadi and Linken Boroff; 2 brothers, James (Pearl) Robertson and Robert Robertson; sister, Jo Ann Bogue; dear friends and family; and his loving dog, Maggie. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Linda Robertson. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11:00AM at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 17122 2nd St., Nunica, MI 49448. A limited visitation will be held one-hour prior. A limited visitation with the family will be held from 6-8:00PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, 49444. A burial will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Holton Township. Memorial contributions in Tom's honor can be made direct to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
