Pearl SMITH Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pearl Marie Smith, aged 71, on January 28, 2024. She peacefully departed this world and left behind cherished memories that will forever remain in our hearts. She is survived by her daughter, two grandchildren and siblings in Canada. Pearl will be remembered for her sense of humour and green fingers. A champion of animals, big and small. A funeral service for Pearl will be held at Wakapuaka Crematorium, Atawhai Drive, Nelson, on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2.00pm.

I was very sad after learning recently of Pearl's passing, from Presbyterian Support where Pearl and my late wife Marianne were great friends. Pearl was also a close neighbour and lovely person. I shall miss her but trust she and Marianne will now be together and happy again, free of the trauma which the world is currently experiencing."
I had submitted this message many days ago but for some unexplained reason, I am told it was not received for publication. I hope the delay does not diminish the sincerity with which it is, hopefully, now received. RIP Pearl. Colin Duncan

Its with great sadness I have heard of Pearls passing I have so many memories shared of Pearl who I initially met through work we then formed a great friendship never to be forgotten with lots of fun and humour.
Rest in peace Pearl love to you Erin and family.
