I will never forget where I was that day, sitting in a Christmas Trim class for Rich's-Macy's and they came into the room and we couldn't believe it was real, that a plane had really crashed into the world trade center and then this one the second one crashed too into the second tower and we knew it wasn't an accident. Unreal. You guys died for all of us, so we could remain free, and you're all in Heaven .... all of you with God. You're loved forever and blessed forever and remembered forever....

My name is Patty Baldinger. I live in Albuquerque, NM. I am married and have 3 grown children. When 9/11 happened, I was watching TV. Shocked is the only word I can think of. I was thinking of all those people who have died that day. I went to church a few months later and they were selling bracelets with names of people who died on 9/11. Being a fundraiser, I bought one. I have worn it every day since then. I have Kathryn LaBorie on mine. I just wanted to say that I think of her every day. I have read abour her and I am sure she was a wonderful, beautiful person.

This time of year brings fall and a flood of memories back to you. We think of you and speak of you often but it's hard this time of year. It seems like just yesterday that you, Eric, Dave and I would spend hours upon hours in our yard. I remember how hooked you got on the salad from Kellys'...you loved the way I got it so you tried it....Just lettuce, feta cheese and parmesan peppercorn dressing! When you would order it you would say..."I want the Dawn salad". So many memories Kat. I will never stop asking why....just as I will never, ever stop loving you and thinking of you.
