As I stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

Darlene, It's Oscar Rosales from the Corona high school, class of 1956. The class just had it's 50th reunion, April 8, 2006. We raised enough money to dedicate a memorial to Buddy and to you. We hope to place it in the old high school grounds. The class is so excited about this project. It was nice hearing all of the comments concerning you two, sweethearts. Many of us watched you from afar. You taught us the meaning of friendship and then, love. It was fun at UC Santa Barbara. You did so well. If the family wants to know how the class of '56 is doing with the memorial, they can contact me. The class holds you both dearly in their memories.

My Dear Dee: Alas I found this site after seeing your name along with Bud's that you both had passed on 9/11. I was quite shocked and angered that you two had been taken. I have a lot of fond family memories and hopefully I can make contact with the boys through this site, because families are forever and I wish we would not have lost contact with each other. May peace and love grace us all and bring us together. I miss you Dee and Bud. Love your cousin Linda.

In a prayer service in memory of the 9/11 victims on yesterday's aniversary, I recieved a nametag with Darlene Flagg's name. I wanted to express how in awe I am of the courage of the victims and everyone else affected by the tragedies. I can't even begin to imagine the emotions one must have went through. The victims will always be my heros. While I never met Darlene, she will always be a role model to me.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

To the family and friends of Darlene "Dee" Flagg

I send my deepest sympathy and prayers during this horrific time of your life. Take solice in that she is now with our Great Lord and Savior. No more will she have to worry of the problems of this world. God wanted her now and she took his hand. Her soul has shed her earthly shell and is free to exist in His Heavenly House. A house so wonderful that we cannot even begin to fathom.

I will wear my band with her name on it with pride and everytime I look at it I will prayerfully think of her loved ones and hope that you seek and find comfort and strength in our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For I also have lost loved ones, and had to rest wrapped in his arms not sure if I would ever be able to go on. He knocks at the door of your life..waiting to be invited in.

We all only have today..tomorrow is not guaranteed..Live today as if it were your last.
