Regarding Ruben...We worked together years ago on more than a handful of satellites. This man is one to be remembered and noted. He was always helpful, hardworking and had a positive outlook that never seemed to waiver. I am sure that wherever he is now, it is that much better of a place for the grace of his presence. My sincerest condolences to his family; may your memories of him always be a comfort to you. Breathe.

MR. Ornedo,
You will never be forgotten, as I met you after you passed. Myself and the men in my unit found you and the others in the Pentagon. I am sorry for your families loss, as I cannot imagine the pain they have gone through. It has taken me 6 1/2 years to write this. God Bless You.

I worked with Ruben in the Hardware/Firmware Development Department (HWFWDD) for 2 years starting in 1989. I still have a coffee cup with all of our names on it. Ruben was always upbeat. He was a really nice guy to know and work with. My deepest sympathy goes out to his wife and child.

I never knew you, but my brother worked with you. I know your death touched him in such a deep way, that the sorrow of your passing was transmitted across the US, to me, in PA. May you know that your life touched so many you never knew.

To Ruben's family...
My name is Todd Pearl, I lived in Los Angeles from 1979 thru 1997.
I met and became friendly acquainted with Ruben and his brother through a good friend, Pete Barker at the West LA YMCA from 1989 thru 1997. It was a pleasure to know Ruben. A truly kind person, always with his great smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. The world is a little less without Ruben here. His memory will certainly live on.
Sincerely,
Todd Pearl

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
