Just started thinking about 9/11 and how we lost real people 22 years ago, just felt like looking at who was on the first plane. His name caught my attention before I saw his creativity in his amazing work and zooming in more, now I know he had a baby due in March and he carried ultrasound photo. That baby is 21 and a half. So poignantly sorrowful for what this family and all who loved him has gone through. God bless

Just saw the video one of Tom's close friends shared on this 20th Anniversary of his loss. His karaoke skills were unmatched. I originally met Tom when I found his sister's web memorial and I heard him singing Brandy. That song means so much to me every time I hear it. And now a favorite of mine Brown Eyed Girl will also be extra special because it is a Tommy memory, too!! Hugs to his sisters

Tom, I didn't know you but I worked for Sky TV when it happened and I was watching the TV in the office as it happened. I remember later receiving the memo advising all staff of your passing (Fox are linked to our company). Although I didn't know you and I no longer work for Sky TV, you have had a big positive impact to my life and how I live it with my family. I was watching a 9/11 documentary last night about the falling man and to my surprise at the end I saw a lovely woman standing holding your name on a piece of card and it shocked me. Will never forget your name mate or the anger you must have felt at that time. I know you are at peace now. Peace to you and your family from Scotland.

Tommy, you will always be in our hearts. My husband Arthur Hawkes worked with Tommy @ American Cable Systems in the 80's. We all went to many Christmas parties, Halloween parties( Tommy was Gummby :-) and a crazy ski weekend. He was always smiling and so sweet. We thought of him while in Nbpt this past weekend while looking at the sea of flags at the memorial. When I turned the flag in front of me blew and there was a tag reading Thomas Pecorelli. I took a few photos of his flag and also grabbed the paper with a beautiful photo of Tommy on the front page. If any of Tommy's family didn't get to see his flag, I can send it to you via text and I'll gladly give you my copy of the paper. You can reach me on FB: Laurie Dudley Hawkes. Thinking of all of you. God Bless.

My only brother, who will always be "Tommy" to me, was the most charismatic, funny, talented, caring, loving, wonderful soul I have EVER had the honor to know.
As 9/11 approaches, instead of dwelling on how we lost him, I will honor his life remembering all the funny impersonations he did, the songs he sang, and his love for life, his wife, his family, and of course, the Red Sox and Patriots! He would have been the best dad... Till we meet again...I love you forever!

To my dear friend Tom,
As this 10th anniversary approaches, I once again try to deal with what happened. I keep thinking that each year it will get easier, but it never does. And somehow, this year is tougher, maybe because of all the attention around it. I still can't bear to see those towers on fire. The only thing that gives me any comfort is the picture of your smiling face. I know you are at peace, and knowing that, I too find some peace. I pray that your family and other friends are at peace too. God Bless you Tommy, you were a good friend, too good to lose.

Tom Pecorelli in a 9/11 stained glass window in a Michigan church

December 10, 2010
Hi,
I was a student at the high school that Tom's mother in law, Mrs Pavloff, worked at. When I heard of his death, I asked Mrs. Pavloff for a photo of him. You see, I am a stained glass artist. I was working on a window for a church here in Auburn Hills, Michigan. I was making one of the 20 glass panels into a 9/11 memorial window. I included Mr. Pecorelli's portrait into that window. I just recently ran across this site and wanted to leave this note.I am including a photo. He is the man in the brown suit on the left.
God bless.

Tommy it is the 9th Thanksgiving since youv'e been gone. You are on my mind everyday. This year I have a beautiful part of you---your son, my Grandson Nicolas. You would be so proud of him. He has a great deal of his dad's handsome looks. I took him to a conservency 2 days ago for injured animals who can not go back into the wild. It also had a Planetarium, and we saw 2 shows. I gave him my video camera to take pictures, you would have a great laugh, in that respect he is nothing like you. I love him so very, very much. I hope you hear me everyday I talk to you, and keep watching over Nicolas, I have told him all about his wonderful loving dad, and how much you wanted him in your life. On this, the 9th anniversary of that horrible day, politics and religion are getting into the fray over 9/11. To me, it doesn't really matter what they build at that site because I know you are not there anymore and my memories of you are not there. The only things I remember of that place are fire and ash and twisted metal, and none of those things have anything to do with you. I would rather remember your smile, your infectious laugh, your outlook on life, your endearing sense of humor. That day isn't about politics or religion or arguing or buildings or burning books, it's about people; the ones we lost, the ones they left behind and the ones they never met, who should be allowed to grow up in a different world, a world without words of hatred, without images of fire and twisted metal. The image I choose on this day is my friend Tommy, smiling back at me. God Bless my friend.
