I'm a British woman who is taking part in the 5yr anniversary tribute to the victims of 9/11 organised through the weblog society.

2996+ bloggers are preparing for a massive tribute on 9/11.

Khang, you are my Person. I don't know you or your family, but I have seen comments from your friends that show you to be a caring, considerate man and a loving husband and father.

What better tribute is there to a man.

You were taken too early.

Although I don't know Khang - I wanted to write a small note in his memory. I participated in a motorcycle parade honoring all the victims and their families on 9/11/02. With estimates of about 8,000 bikes in this parade, not everyone was able to wear a bracelet. However, I did have the honor of wearing one, and it was that of Khang Nguyen. Being 1 of 8,000 motorcycle riders, riding in Khang's memory, and everyone else who parished on 9/11/01 was a great honor. It was quite an event, and was very moving. I still have the bracelet I wore that day with his name, and department on it. If anyone that reads this that knows his immediate family, or friends, I would like to give this bracelet to them. I had the honor of wearing it on 9/11/02, and if somebody close to him would like to have it, I would be pleased to give it to them. My thoughts to all his friends and family for your loss.

Khang was brought up in Vietnam before and after the fall of Saigon; he didn't need any lessons in suffering and humility. Thanks for being a friend (and showing me where all the good Pho places are) God bless, you will always be remembered.

I am a student at St. Pius X High School. The school has made a wrist band in memory of every person that was killed by the terorists. I just want to say that Khang is really in my prayers and in his family's prayers and that he will never be forgotten.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
