I did not know Maudlyn White, but I wear a bracelet with her name on it every year on 9/11. In 2001, my mom bought me this simple piece of jewelry to honor heroes and those lost on 9/11. I wear it more frequently than once a year, usually on Patriotic holidays and other random times when I´m feeling proud to be an American. Maudlyn´s service and memory will never be forgotten.
All my love and respect,

Maudlyn,

I really miss you. You and your daughter made such an impact on me and my family in just the short time we knew you. I looked out of my upstairs window many days hoping you or your daughter would come out but you never did. It still hurts to know that you are not going to be here any more. But I know God knows what is best.

Today is 9/11/02 and today I received your name to remember from a Red Cross Memorial Remembrance in Strawberry Square in Harrisburg, PA. It is apparent that you touched a lot of different peoples' hearts while you lived and that you will never be forgotten. May you rest in God's arms.

Maudlyn A. White, May God Bless your Soul and Rest In Peace.

I did not know you personally but I heard from a friend that you were a victim of the 9/11 attacks.

My heart goes out to your daughter and the rest of your family. I was 9 when I lost my mother all of a sudden. I am now 34 and I still feel the pain of losing her at such a young age. To your daughter, I know it's hard but be strong because from what I know about your Mom she would not want it any other way.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
