A BEAUTIFUL SOUL HAS GONE TO HEAVEN, MAY YOUR GRACE AND GOODNESS LIVE ON IN YOUR FAMILY, YOU WERE A WOMAN OF GRACE, STYLE AND GOODNESS IN SCHOOL. GOD CALLED A LOT OF HIS ANGELS HOME THAT DAY AND I'M HAPPY TO HAVE KNOWN ONE OF THEM (YOU) TAKE YOUR REST AND KNOW THAT GOD IS WATCHING OVER YOUR LOVE ONES. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL THE FAMILIES FROM THAT FATEFUL DAY....

I have seen the stories and recently saw the story of her son and mother and as a mother of a son also my heart felt prayers go out to the ones left behind altough our loss is great for not knowing her my family hopes and pray that the family can still hold fast in the comfort of having her for loving her all those years.

Sandra was a beautiful person. She was a childhood friend who I had lost contact with for over 25 years, until running into her in the hallway of the Pentagon about a year before 9/11. As a child growing up in Hampton, VA, she was the type of person you would want your daughter to be; always the picture of grace and class. During our brief encounter at the Pentagon, we played catch up. I found myself amazed at how this little girl had matured into a beautiful woman, wife and mother. As we near the 3rd anniversary of this tragedy, I pray that God will continue to bless her family and her soul.

I know we were not good friends, but I find myself remembering each day something that Sandra had said to me. I miss her. I can imagine that if it is like this for me, what her family must be going through. My prayers are constant for Oscar, Jonathan, and Oscar, II.

Sandra, I know within my heart you will some how know that I am writing this to you. Although I didn't know you as well as others, I have really enjoyed and appreciated the times we did share together. During our many rides homes together on the bus, you were a big help to me in waking me up as I neared my stop. If not, I would have slept pass my stop. I remember the laughs we shared on the way to and from work. Those I will hold dear to my heart. You are a very beautiful person inside and out and I know you are now rejoicing with the Angels in heaven. Your smile and your laughter will forever be remembered. Our lost is heaven's gain. Look down on us Sandra, that we may continue looking up - one day, we to shall behold HIS face. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Your friend.....Amy

Sandra,

I didn't know you, but Oscar and I were colleagues and good friends. Oscar misses you more than words can express. His strong faith in God and in his higher spiritual purpose is getting him through this.

Rest easy in God's arms and take comfort from above, that Oscar's faith, friends, and deep love for you will keep him safe on this earth until he joins you in heaven.

Thank you for your service to our country and for sharing your wonderful life and gifts with so many people.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
