I visited New York for the first time and visited the memorial site to come across your name while I was saying a silent prayer to the lives that was lost on 9/11. Your name stuck with me, as I approached the room with all the pictures of faces, my body was filled with anxiety and my eyes landed your your name and face! This experience stuck with me and I only wish for your family and friends to be strong in this time. My prayers are with you Teresa...rest in peace.

I learned of your name a couple of years ago. My husband and one of my daughters were visiting New York after a concert in Newark. They walked up to your name at the 9/11 memorial and gasped. You see, my maiden name is Teresa M Martin (my middle name is Mary). Hearing of this and seeing the picture my husband sent me of your name forever keeps you in my thoughts. We are all connected, all called to remember. We will never forget. Godspeed Teresa and God bless your family today and always.

If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say good-bye . You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you, no one will ever know. Anonymous~

Though I didn't know Teresa, I knew her husband, John, many, many years ago and just recently learned about this devastating loss. John, if you read this, I just wanted you to know that my heart broke for you when I read about your loss. You are in my thoughts.

Last Sunday,on 9/11, my church St.John Eudes in Chatsworth, Ca. gave everyone a wrist band to wear with the name of a person who perished in the 9/11 attacks 10 years ago. We were asked to say prayers for that person. My wristband is Teresa M. Martin and I am still wearing it and saying prayers each day. I was so happy to have found her bio. I can't begin to express my sympathies for her family and friends. God Bless.

I recently placed a flag for Teresa in my hometown and after reading about her I am truly sad that I never got to meet such a special person.I hope that her family and friends can continue to heal, but never forget her. On the tenth anniversary of 9/11 I hope that our country continues to come together because of this horrific event.

Teri-Thank you for being the wonderful sunday school teacher that you were. My children will remember you. John dedicated a playground in your memory. It was perfect. It is right next to your memorial. The children can't wait to get on it every time they are the church. You are missed by many. Thanks for your dedication and your smile that you gave to everyone-

I knew Teri from church. The thing I remember most about Teri was when you looked into her eyes they were beautiful and so full of life. It was like looking into her sole. She taught sunday school and I know what she taught those children will be passed from her class to future children. What a legacy to leave.

I never met Teri, but here on the 5th anniversary (Sept 11,2006) of the attacks, that so sadly took her and many others from us, her loss is still so fresh in our memories.

Sept 11th will never be the same again. I'm a friend of Teri's step son. I never had the honor of meeting her because she was sadly taken just days before I met her step-son.

I had heard nothing but beautful things about her. And had seen the hurt that her family was going though. Her and her family was in my prayers then and still to this day. I continue to pray for those loved ones, she has lefted behind.

God Bless all that has lost someone so dear to them....

I continue to pray and hope her husband John, and the rest of Teri's family continue to heal and remember the light she brought to their and my life. We all miss you.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
