Dear Aunt Claudia,
Its been a long time since I have heard from you. I have thought about Uncle David a lot since everything happened and you as well. Part of me feels like you are my only link to him left. That you could tell me so much about what happened in his life that i missed. I have a poem that he helped me to write that I would love for you to see. I miss you. Please feel free to call me any time at all...my phone number is 570-369-2900. I love you.
PS~ I got married since then....my last name is Barnum now. And I have a son.....here is a picture of my family.

Dear David was a sweet guy with a big heart, like a teddy bear.
What a great cook. I'll miss his gentle presence and his BBQ.
I'm sure he's an angel watching over his beloved Claudia.

May David's humor, life and love live on in those who love him. We are deeply sorry for your loss of David. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

My heart goes out to Claudia and may she know the joy that David brought to so many. As a member of the "Train Gang", I will remember with a smile David's "NO" when giving the wrong answer playing Trivial Pursuit. And I personally will miss trying to finish the crossword puzzles that David was stumped on.
Rest in peace David, you are missed.
