I do not know Stephen as I have been assigned him for a school project. It is still a hard topic even though I did not experience it in real life. I know many people who were in school at the time of the attacks. I cannot imagine how hard it was to lose loved ones in these attacks. As I continue to find information on Steve he seems like he was an amazing person and I am really sorry to anyone who had to lose a loved one in these attacks. I wish you all the best.

Remembering Steven on the 20th anniversary of 9/11...

I went to the University of Miami Law School with Steve and we had most of our first year classes together. I want to say to his family that he was very well respected among us classmates - he ALWAYS had a smile on his face and his intelligence shone brightly when he responded to a professor's interrogatory.

Steve was a great friend at SUNY Stony Brook where he was known as “Fro” (his hair style at the time). My father past away while we were at school and Steve was one of the first to come to my room. He didn’t say a word, he just came over and gave me a kiss on the top of my head. I never forgot that. Rest In Peace buddy.

I didnt know Steven and I never met him. I did however have dinner with his wife and daughter at their home in Westfield several years ago. They were the sweetest and most generous people you could hope to meet. I can only imagine he was the same.

My brother made A video of The memorial for 911. I stop the video and saw Steven Fogel's name. I looked him up on the Internet and he sounds like a wonderful man. That day holds so many terrible losses, but I am going to remember Steven Fogel For the rest of my life. I'll remember him and his family in my prayers.

To Stephen's family: I don't know you. I'm from Wisconsin. My wife and I are visiting NYC for the first time ever. Of course our visit included the 9/11 Memorial today (10/27/2017). I walked up to the wall with the sound of falling water in the background, and the first name I saw was "Stephen Mark Fogel". I immediately thought, this is my connection to those events. I will pray for Stephen's family for the rest of my life. I love how the names are written in the wall; the letters are so deeply etched that they will never fade, nor will their memories. Tonight, I decided to Google the name to see what I can find out. I see that Stephen loved music. Me too. I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss; all the milestones Stephen has missed these past 16 years. It must still hurt. I can't imagine your pain. There are thousands of names on that wall, but I'm praying for you. To Laurie, Brittany, Joe, and your whole family, thank your for sharing Stephen with us all, and allowing me to pray for you. God bless you all.

My teacher has a big binder with the 9/11 victims in it. Each year he has each of his students place their names next to one of the names and reasearch that person. I got you Steven. I keep finding info on you, and everything I've read says that you were a nice guy. I wish I knew you, I really wish I knew you. I hope one day when I wake up in the Kingdom I'll meet you. Thanks for being one of the nice guys on this crazy planet.

I rode yesterday, 9/11, with the 2 Million Bikers to DC. All of us who rode out of Harley Davidson in DC yesterday received a sticker with the name of a 9/11 victim to place on our helmets to honor that fallen brother or sister on the ride. My person was Steven. I didn't want Steven be just a name on my helmet, so when I got home last night, I researched him. I discovered what a great guy he was. He'd be about my age now, and if I had known him, I think we would have hit it of as friends. I was proud to ride in honor of Steven yesterday. And I will keep his sticker on my helmet, so he'll be with me again next year. From all of us in the biker community, please accept our most sincere condolences for your terrible, tragic loss. God bless you all.

Today I was given Steven's name via the 9/11 Memorial Facebook page. I had to search for his story and found this and others online. He sounds like an amazing man and just wanted Steven's family to know that he was remembered today, by me and my friends. Even though we didn't know him...I'll be saying prayers for continued peace for all those who knew and loved him.

I knew Steven from law school - and he was one of the nicest guys in our class - since he was already married with young children, this gave him a wonderful perspective and we were all lucky to have someone around who was so grounded. I'm a mother of 3 today (my two oldest lost their dad much too early) and I think of his wife and children often. Yesterday was the 10th anniversary and memorial - your family is in my prayers and Steven will always be remembered by those who knew him.

I knew Steven for years having grown up on Midland Drive in East Meadow. He used to hang around with a group of boys who would chase me and my girlfriend down the street or through the school yard. When he wasn't with them Steven would follow me on his bike and talk to me. It didn't take me long to respond to his light friendly banter. He was really very sweet. He was different from the rest of the boys. My heart goes out to his wife, children and family. God bless you and Grant you Peace.

We were summer associates together at Stroock and then colleagues at Stroock. He was a talented lawyer with a wonderful disposition. After he left Stroock, I saw him a few times at social events with friends we had in common. I will be thinking about him and his family tomorrow.

Tomorrow marks 10 years since you lost Stephen. I knew Stephen from the early years in East Meadow--from elementary school through high school. I hadn't seen him since high school until one day I saw his name in a directory at my husband's office at Stroock. I was lucky enough to see him again after so many years. And he was so happy!!! I didn't know he left and went to Cantor Fitzgerald. Until 9/11. As that fateful day approaches, Stephen is in my thoughts. And so is his family.

Our California city (Tulare) does a yearly blood drive on September 11th in memory of those that our nation lost that tragic day. Each donor is given a badge with someone's name on it to make the experience much more meaningful. Today I was given Steven's name and I just wanted Steven's family to know that he was remembered today, even by people that didn't even know him personally...

I attended law school with Steve, and we had all our first year classes together. I remember him as warm, kind, and always smiling. Steve was very smart, but never arrogant, always helpful. Although I lost touch with Steve after we graduated, on the 5th anniversary of 9/11, I find myself thinking of him. I want his family to know that he touched people's lives wherever he went, that everyone who knew him thought he was a great guy. I know that the world is a better place because he was here.

I had the privilege of having Steve as a client while I was an associate at a law firm. Steve was one of the kindest clients I ever had. He was always a pleasure to work with, even when situations became complex and challenging. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Steve, you will be missed by many people, may you rest in peace.

Steve and I grew up in the same town on Long Island. When I was about 15 years old (he was around 20 years old) he would come to my house to teach me guitar lessons. Those times were extremely valuable and enriching to me as a teenager in a way that I will always cherish. It was Steve's kind spirit and enthusiasm that allowed it to happen.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
