20 years so far....
Tommy, the Galvin Cup lives strong my friend! We have even moved to twice a year now that many of us are winding down our careers. Playing your famed WF in October thanks to your Dad. It will be a fitting 20 year reunion with you.
BTW - we all still suck at golf. :-)

Tommy,
As I began preparing for our annual Galvin Cup, I found a picture of us flipping steaks on my bbq in Greenwich. As usual, you have a big smile on your face. I miss all of the good times that we’re still to come, but I’m very grateful for the amazing times we had!!

G-Man: Another year of FUKU last night kicked off with our annual draft. We have it down to just over 1 hour these days, a far cry from the 6 hour nonsense of year's past. As we always do, we tipped off the night with a tribute to you and Richie. We are headed to Ireland together and will remember you fondly there as well. Miss you man. PJC

Hey G-Mo,
Was just thinking of you again. Paulie passed away as you probably know last month. I still remember the drive back to CT from Bulle Rock when I got him. ..with you and him in the back seat together. He was all over you. Those were fun times back at Homey Place. I think of you often.

Hey Tom,
The girls and I were just watching old home videos for the first time in many years and you were a big part of them. We laughed and cried together as we watched. Emily and Eliza will never forget their beloved Uncle Tom. Eliza still keeps the stuffed animal you gave her one Christmas on her bed, even though all the other stuffed animals have retired to the attic because she's really "way too old for them." And Emily keeps the Georgetown sweatshirt you gave her folded in her closet, even though it it no longer fits over her head. And on my desk I keep a birthday card you wrote to me the first year we moved back east, welcoming me to the family. However, we don't need these objects to remember you by because you will never be forgotten.
We love you and miss you dearly.

Tom I pray for your family and friends for their loss. I know the pain of losing a child and I'm sure you and Dawn have touched base in your new world. There just has to be a "special" place for all the Greenwich Kids to meet. Your life was short but so full per your own design and effort. You graced so many lifes and I'm sure you continue to do so. Love continues from here to there - wherever there is... God Bless You and know that you are never forgotten.

I wish this was something I didn't have to do I just found this site and I am proud to say Tom was a freind to all, always postive and always had a quick witted response to everything going on around him, Today exactly one year after your passing I can't help but think about all of us who knew you and how sad we all are by the events that took place and how much we miss you buddy. I promise your memory will live on among all of who knew you as we are all better for knowing you!

I first met Tom when he was 15 or 16 through his brother John who I went to college with and share a long friendship. I also got to know his sister Kathy very well and have fond memories of the many fun times hanging out with all of them. I saw Tom off and on again through the years usually in Greenwich somewhere and when I did, he was always upbeat, full of life, with a big smile. My deepest and warmest wishes to John, Kathy and the rest of the Galvin family on this memorial day.

I didn't know Tom very well but met him through Kathy McNeff on Sept. 5th while I was on a business trip in New York. They invited me out to a group dinner & I couldn't believe what an incredibly kind, funny, charming, & interesting guy she had met - I was so happy for them both. Life seemed so perfect on that Indian Summer day. Days later I watched the terror unfold from 2 blocks away and immediately thought of Tom, hoping he was out that day or late - anything but in his office. Despite not knowing him well, I continue to think of this wonderful person who's life was cut so short. My prayers are with Tom's family, friends & Kathy - May his spirit soar in your hearts forever : ) Julie

To Tommy's family: I was fortunate enough to get to know your son through Georgetown golf, having captained the team in the years before Tommy arrived, and then got to watch him play while I was at Georgetown law, and play with him in alumni gatherings. As the other notes have stressed, Tommy never failed to have a smile on his face and was always a joy to be around. I know that all of us who got to know him on the golf course are better for it. I have asked the priests here in Savannah to remember Tommy in their masses.

We are very sorry for your loss of Thomas. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I knew Tom through one of his close friends Tom Moran. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My father was also a victim of the tragic events of September 11th, so I can understand the pain you are feeling. Know that Tom was such a special person, and he always had a smile on his face. Everytime I spoke to him, he made me laugh. God Bless.
