I didn't know till now. I worked with Aram's sister Anita at Burger King in 1978. I don't know if my name sounds familiar but condolences to the family. My name is Susan Sperling. I live in Colorado.

Aram worked for me early in his career before going on to bigger things. He was the sort of person one remembers fondly even 25 years later.

I knew Aram as a great husband and father. I knew him as a very inteligent, talented, hands on, careing person. I never saw him get excited, he remained calm. I knew him and his family in the 90's. Our families spent many good times together.

Aram was my younger brother by two and a half years. He and I shared many similar experiences and memories together. I'll always remember him fondly and am thankful for all of the kind messages and memories written here. Thank you very much to everyone for writing such kind and thoughtful entries.

Yes we knew Aram. He was our Son - in- Law. We, Sheri's parents think of him every day and how 9/11 created such a void in our family. He was like a son, having joined our family when he was only 15 years old. The most important thing for parents is to have their child loved and taken care of. Aram did just this and we will always hold him dear for his warmth and kindness.

My name is Doug Brewer. I graduated from Lynbrook H.S. in 1978, the same year that Sheri and Aram graduated. I was in many of their classes and remember them as great students and nice individuals who made an awesome young couple. After 9/11 when I saw Aram's name on the list of victims, I wanted to reach out but never quite knew how. I am honored to have this opportunity to finally do so. I wish Sheri much happiness with her new husband while she cherishes her memories. One recollection I have of Sheri is that she told me one day in class that her toes bled sometimes after taking ballet class.

I did not know Aram, but I found out today of this gentle person's link to my lovely childhood friend Sheri Pearlman. To capture dear Sheri's heart, I know he was must have been an extraordinary person. God bless his soul and the lives of his dear family. I send my love and prayers to them across the miles.

I didn't know him that well, but I slept over Meryl's house one night in second grade and I was afraid of the dark and he gave me a flashlight. He was a nice guy.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

Aram was a very good friend at the University of Rochester. I regret not having stayed in touch over the years. I remember Aram as a thoughtful, personable and a natural leader. I'm sure his last moments involved trying to help others.
