After coming across a 9/11 documentary on Youtube, I found myself taking a closer look at the victims from that tragic day.. As i was looking, I came across Sharons biography. Her beautiful smile alone caught my attention and reminded me so much of my very own auntie. Her name is Veronica and shes like a mother to me. Although I dont know much about Sharon besides what was shared to the public, I just know that she was a very special person. I also feel like her and my auntie would have been great friends if they'd had the chance to meet. They just have so much in common. Like Sharon, my aunt is a chuch-going woman and loves jazz music. Shes a middle school teacher and also encourages me as i go through college. And catch this, her father name was Arthur, as well her brother, and her mothers name was Emma. Isnt that neat? After learning all of that I just had to let it be known that Sharons story has truly touched my heart & I pray for her family's continuous strength.

Hello Auntie another year has passed and the hurt is still here. I often talk to you and I feel you presence with me. I miss you and long to hear you nag but at the same time encourage me to keep pushing if not for myself for my boys. I know you continue to watch over me and continue to guide me towards the potential you know I possess within. I love you Auntie and I feel honored and blessed to have spent the time that I did have with you. You weren't just my aunt you have been there with me from day one till the day your body left this earth and your spirit moved on. You were the glue to our family and since your departure everything to this day has been off and just crazy. Even though we have learned how to keep moving on with life the gatherings definitely aren't like you use to get. I love you Auntie and I know you are waiting for me while watching over me. Continue to be my wings and eyes from above.

To the family of Sharon Carver,
I worked with Sharon when she was at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Her big beautiful smile and humor was a wonderful addition to the office. I was devestated to hear that she had passed in the Pentagon attack and think of her often. She spoke of her love and dedication for her family and you all are forever in my thoughts and prayers. I know that Sharon and Jesus is with each of you and will continue to strengthen and comfort you during this time. God bless!

I remember reading the list of people killed on Sept.11 and being very surprised to see Sharon's name. As you can see that is my name also. As I read through the guest book I could tell that Sharon was a very smart person who made an impression on all those people she crossed paths with. I am sorry for your loss. Remember the good times.

I knew Sharon going back to 1975 when her family moved to Ambassador Square Apts in SE Washington. We were all kids then. Even in those days, Sharon was the sweetest person you'd ever want to meet. She had that same smile that's in the picture. She use to tease me, but it was all about fun and laughter. Even as adults, our paths cross at UDC when she was studying for her bachelor's degree. Its 2007 and I still cant believe she's gone. Sharon, I just want you to know that you are loved and missed...I wish you were still here.

To the Carver Family,
My prayer's are with you and your family still. I went to UDC in 1983/84 with Sharon, and we work together in the Work Study Program. She was a very nice & sweet person with a beautiful heart. After the years I will run into her in Downtown DC or I will some time call her on her Birthday. I was very hurt when I heard the news of Sharon.

To the Carver Family:
I will never forget Sept. 11th as long as I live, nor will I forget Sharon Carver. I had the pleasure to work with Sharon when she was employeed at the Bureau of Public Debt before coming to the Pentagon.
All I remember is how polite and kind she was.
When the horrific incident happened, I just prayed for everyone safety. Then I prayed "Lord please let nothing happen to anyone I know at the Pentagon". I remind my children that I did know Sharon and she was a sweet young lady.
God Bless Your Family and you all will remain in my prayers.

While surfing through the net with my son. We came across the memorial of 911. We strolled down the pics of those that perished and came across This one. I didn't get the privalege to meet this person. However her smile on that pic reached out and touched a part of my soul. May God continue to watch over her family and know that even strangers are praying for you. God Bless You.

I go to school in NC, and on September 11, 2002 we had a place set up for people to come in to make bracelets with information about the victims on for the entire week. I chose Sharon's name when I saw that she was from Waldorf, MD. I live about 30 minutes from Waldorf, and I grew up there since I was 2. Waldorf is like the biggest place nearby and I was always up there. I just felt a bond and that I had to pick her when I made my bracelets.

TO THE CARVER FAMILY:
SHARON WORKED IN THE OFFICE WITH MY SISTER, CECELIA RICHARD, WHOM ALSO PERISHED. I FELT THEM BOTH WHEN I ALSO RECEIVED MY DEGREE FROM STRAYER UNIVERSITY. MY HEART WAS LIFTED WHEN STRAYER PRESENTED HER SISTER WITH HER DEGREE. THIS HAS GIVEN ME THE STRENGTH TO CONTINUE MY EDUCATION AND KNOW THAT IT CAN BE DONE. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO GIVE US THE STRENGTH TO CARRY ON AND BE ENCOURAGED.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

To the loved ones of Sharon, I ask the Lord to surround you with peace for the loving reminder that in Him we have everlasting life, and that we will be reunited in heaven with our loved ones. I ask that God grant you the courge and strength to go foward in the days ahead. That you will have a peace that only comes to you from above, in times that make no sense at all. My heart is broken over your loss, and the evil that in walked our lives that day. A evil that I can not fully feel as you feel. But take comfort and know that there are so many that pray for you and your family, and for our county.
May God bless you and grant you some peace.

I hope this encourages the family of Sharon that we are praying for them in their time of grief.
We Remember You
We remember you in your anguish and pain,
knowing that in this life you'll never see your friends or loved ones again.
You'll never see their precious smile or feel the warmth of their embrace,
or hear the laughter in their voice or wipe a tear from their face.
We remember you in the days to come when reality sets in,
that there'll be an empty place in your home and heart where your loved ones should have been.
Yes they should have been there in your life,
to share your joy to share your strife;
To share your laughter to share your tears,
to share your dreams through the years.
We remember you in our thoughts and prayers
And to let you know that somebody cares.
Yes we care that you are lonely and blue,
So we are sending this hug especially for you.
We pray you find peace from the Lord above,
And that He will surround you in His love.
We pray you'll have the strength needed to go on,
To prove to the enemy that they have not won.
And when the hurting comes anew,
Please know in your heart that we remember you.
