Being a man of Irish descent , we live each day, no matter how beautiful the day, that one day your heart will be broken!
As I left for work that beautiful Tuesday morning, how could any one of us know that this would be the DAY!

Praying for strength for the entire D´amedeo family!

Dear D'amadeo family,
Our school is creating a beautiful garden where we will plant Iris Bulbs in honor of the people that died in the 9/11 accident. I am going to plant one for Vincent in honor of him. I am so sorry for your loss, but always remember he will always be there with you.

Hi Vinny, We are approaching the five year anniversary of the most dreadful day of our lives. We are told that healing takes time, but I know that we will never heal. What happened to you is something we can NEVER heal from. It ruined our lives, what happened to you. I guess if it is true and you can see us from heaven, then you see what is happening with us and it is not good. I miss you with all my heart, I cry for you as I write this... everything is still a bad dream that I am waiting to wake up from. LOVE YA, Your sister Helene

VINNY WAS MY BOSS. WHAT I REMEMBER IS THAT HE ALWAYS HAD YOUR BACK WHEN A PROBLEM AROSE IN THE OFFICE.

VINNY TOOK A CHANCE ON ME AND HE ALWAYS GAVE ME THE CONFIDENCE I COULD GET THE JOB DONE WHEN I HAD A HARD TIME WITH IT. VINNY WOULD ALWAYS TEASE ME BECAUSE I WAS BIG METS FAN AND HE WAS A HUGE YANKEE FAN. I REMEMBER THE DAY AFTER THE YANKEES BEAT THE METS IN THE WORLD SERIES HE GAVE TO ME GOOD BUT DIDN'T RUB IT IN. I REMEMBER ONE NIGHT IT WAS ME,VINNY,JOHN GNAZZO,ALF,JOE REINA AND TOM DAMASKINOS AND WE HAD A TOUCH FOOTBALL GAME IN THE OFFICE. I'LL

NEVER EVER FORGET THAT. I MISS THE TEASING HE GAVE ME. HE MADE THE WORK PLACE FUN. I MISS HIM, HE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

GOD BLESS AND LOVE ALWAYS,CHRIS SAMOTHRAKIS

Dear Vinny, we are Kerry's parents. She has been devastated by your loss, and the loss of everyone from OPS. She has nothing but the highest praise for you as her friend, co-worker and boss. Her father and I were at the Cantor Memorial yesterday. When I went over to sign your name sheet, I had the pleasure of meeting your wife and those 4 handsome little sons of yours and, also your sister. Marty worked there for 15 yrs. so he lost his 2 partners from Local #3, as well as all his Cantor friends who always made hime feel that he wasn't just the telephone guy but a true part of the Cantor Family. We all want you to know that you are always in our hearts. Happy 1st Anniversary in Heaven. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!!! Marty, Mary and Kerry

Dear Vincent,

I've known Raquel and your children

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
