I married Mardo's brother Jamie, after 9-11, I remember placing my bouquet on the memorial in the foyer, a marble/granite cross, made from the twin towers, a book of Mardo's life, a cross, & when I took a photo of this, as I placed my bouquet there, a striking cross came out in the picture, an ORB, I did not know what that meant till then. My husband stood off to the side & cried, but, I knew what that meant. I gave my bouquet to Mardo, he was there in spirit with us. I will always remember how my husband, was so shocked, but sad, & so happy @ the same time, because his brother was there with us!

How sad that Ed has missed the last 10 years of his family and to see his children grow into young adults. That makes us all so very sad. He was a true, "Family Man", and loved his wife and children, dearly. He is missed by so many. Ernie, myself and our children will never forget him or his family.

Ed
On this tenth anniversary of that fateful day I remember and reflect on the good times we spent together growing up in Jericho. Although much time has passed, those fond memories have stayed with me and will not be forgotten. I know you're looking down at us with that big smile...and buddy we're smiling back. May your family find peace now and always.
We will never forget.

I visited the 911 Memorial page on Facebook and I was assigned Edward's name to post on my FB profile. I looked him up on Yahoo and found this memorial page. I just wanted to post to let his family know I am remembering him today.

I remember seeing you every Sunday growing up at mass at OLQM. Time has passed, but i still remember your smile and laugh, especially when i was usually behaving like an ungrateful brat. Do know that you will never be forgotten, but always thought of with fondness and a smile

Mardo,
Just wanted to say howdy! I know you still reach to us from heaven and felt the need to wave back. I still remember the bungy jump from the West End in Dallas. You were alive with energy then as you probably are now. I hope God has given your family peace with time passed. I would say God Bless, but I know you are already.

Yes, another year has gone by. Jericho raised many good people and we have lost 3 of them in one of our countries great tradgedies.
We will never forget those whom died so innocently.
I can say that our hearts go out to your family and loved ones and hope that you are smiling down on all!

I really dont know what to say here. I didnt know you but I feel as if I did. Seven years have passed and it still feels as if this tragedy happened this morning. I pray your soul is at peace. And I pray for peace in the hearts of those of us who helplessly witnessed this senseless act. God bless us all.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
