Phil is in my thoughts and prayers as well as his family Karen and 2 girls. I briefly new the family as I worked for HealthSouth Physical Therapy which was located in the Chatham Club. I remember talking with Phil while he worked out on the elliptical every time he was in the club. He was someone who was very approachable fun to talk to and just a nice person. RIP Phil.
Hope all is well Karen.

Yesterday, I attended a beautiful 9/11 memorial in Broomfield, CO. For each person who passed way that day there was a flag posted on the grounds. We were all encouraged to take one home with us, I picked the one with Philip's name.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family as I read what a wonderful person Philip was. My husband and I took a special moment to pay tribute to your husband, father and son as I know we will every year moving forward.
Warm wishes from Colorado.

Phil we grew up together in East Flatbush and attended Little Flower Grammer School together for 8 years. I knew from that point on we were best of friends. I hold the fondest of memories from then up to and including when you honored me as being my best man. You have been a great friend and are truely missed. God Bless

Father we entrust our brother Philip to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

As cousins of Michael's, we met Philip at family gatherings. We were impressed with his wonderful personality and genuine niceness. We know the world lost a very special person. We send our warmest sympathy. We hope that his family will cherish memories of him and find the strength to carry on.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
