RIP....
A Toronto resident
September 11, 2015
Robert was a cousin of mine, we all called him Bobby. Our families all grew up in Brooklyn and then Bobbys family moved to Flushing. I spend many weekends with them and I was very close to his sister Carole. I do have such great memories of the Levine family, Uncle Sol, Aunt Rose, Carole and Bobby. The year that I moved to Fl. 2005, my sweet beautiful cousin Carole passed away. Always in my thoughts and prayersâ¤

When I lived in Babylon, Bob Levine was my neighbor. He and my husband played cards with the other neighbors and enjoyed each other's company. We were so sad to hear that Bob was a victim on 911. 13 years later and it still hurts like new. RIP Bob!!!

I think of you often. I didn't learn you died in 9/11 until 2014. You were my family. I'm praying for yours. Neil Diamond will forever remind me of you!

Today I rode 91.1 km on my bicycle in Las Vegas in honor of you. I have been researching and discovered that your son now hosts a golf tournament in Boulder City that benefits police and firemen. I am a police officer. Thank you.

Bobby, not a day goes by without the foundest of memories, life is just not the same, too many hurts have followed that day, it lives on within me and the pain never seems to end. I miss those early conversations before our business day began, telling stories of our families and sharing the joy and pride we have in our children. Then the shouts and strirings of the market and how you would let me ramble on and boy did i ramble back then. Well each and every day I recall one of those "Bobbyisms" that does bring some cheer, but alway it is short lived. Whenever we are out, i always order the coconut shrimp as a reminder of you, i remember that last night we all went out to dinner together and never have a dry eye. My children say that I have never have been the same since that day and they are probably right, they do know that you saved my life that day cause you were late to the office and I did not come up. I miss you my brother and will never forget.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I am only 13 years old. Robert was my distant cousin. I believe that I've met him a few times when i was little, but don't remember very much about him. On Septmeber 11, 2001, as I watched the World Trade Center collapse so did apart of me. I felt that I had some direct connection with it and I didn't know why. When I caught my dad trying to hold back tears, as he explained to me that Robert had died. I can't remember anyone calling him Robert, they all him Bobby, and loved him very much. Three of good friends father's died that day along with my cousin. To all those who need God's blessing to get them through, I pray for them. Ronni, I am so sorry, I hope you have the strength to move on. We all love you and are here when ever you need us. There is just one more thing that I have left to say. God Bless America.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I went to high school in Flushing, NY with Robert's sister, Carole. I recently made contact with another friend from high school and she heard from someone that Robert was lost in the WTC. Everyone in the country has been touched by this tragedy. I wish I could hug Carole and tell her how sorry I am for her. We haven't seen each other in 40+ years, but my heart goes out to her. My deepest condolences to Robert's family and to my friend, Carole.
