Another year has past. 22 years. Sadly it doesn’t get any easier. My heart aches due to not having you around in person but knowing you are watching over me in spirit is comfortably soothing. Knowing you can hear me in my prayers brings me a moment of joy.
It doesn’t get easier as time goes on like experts say.
I miss you soooo much. I know mommy, daddy , Aunt Virginia , Bern, Mr/Mrs R., are all together and guiding and protecting me and my family. Thank you and I love you.

I forgot to mention that I know you are watching over because of things that I pray to you and then I would see such a sign. Such as silly things like having humming birds come and visit us in the backyard to drink. That puts a smile on my face because out of all the places they could go to take a drink they chose us. That´s faith. So knowing you can hear me when I pray to you and mommy is a beautiful sign that you are looking over us. Just like when you were here. Always caring about us and loving us and wouldn´t hurt anyone. Always having time for all and always being yourself. I know on this day , twenty years ago, you wanted to visit me to talk and see your niece but cared about missing work and didn´t want to call out sick. Know that your friends will always love, care and treasure you. Just like you did. Know you will always be missed and loved by me and my family and always will be treasured.
Love Marc, Jeanne, Maddy, Tom

17 years and there is not a day that goes by without thinking of you. My heart aches. As time goes on, it doesn't get easier. Miss you so much but knowing you are with loved ones and looking over us, helps, with the hole left in my heart when you were taken away from us. I hope you can hear my good mornings and nights every day. Till we meet again, my big sis.

Dear Kathryn,
I did not know you but we lived in the same building in NYC and Valerie was my babysitter. It is coming close to the 10th anniversary of that horrible day. So many wonderful lives were cut short. So many families left with one question. WHY?? This year is different though. The evilness that was Bin Laden has been removd. I know that you are another angel up in heaven watching over all of us and keeping us safe. God Bless You and all the other angels that entered into heaven with you.
GOD BLESS YOU!!

Kathryn, you were like many rays of sunshine when you and your mother visited us a while back. Your smile was a thing of beauty. I still remember like it was only yesterday your insistence on making your movie of Aunt Helen and I. I was stunned at learning what happened that terrible day of 9/11/2001. I kept hoping and praying that you were not harmed. My heart simply fell out from my being when it was realized you were no longer there.
You will always live in my heart and not a day goes by where I don't think of you. Love you, Uncle Joe

Dear Anna,
I'm writing this to your Mother Kathryn and remembering the visit you both took to California together. Our daughter Janice drove the two of you up to see us in Las Vegas. Love you both so much. Your sister in law Helen.

To all family members who may read this message. I was just informed of this site by another niece here in California. It was a surprise to open this page and see Kathryn's smilling face. It is so refreshing to be reminded of her glow and beauty. I'm so happy my wife and I flew in from California for Neil and Kathryn's wedding. She looked georgeous and beautiful and so very happy. I still treasure the memories of their wedding and especially dancing with Kathyrn. She was so delighted that when we danced that we realized we were the only ones dancing. Her dress just bellowed and almost lifted her into the air.
Her comment was "Oh, uncle Lou that's how my dress should flare out". She loved the magical time we spent on the dance floor.
So, while this whole crazy event of 9/11 took place, everyday I pray for Kathyrn and all those who perished that day. I'm sure the same smile in her picture here is the same smile that she is expressing up in heaven.
I loved the connection with had with each other and the phone calls to my wife and I when we lived in Florida. We especially enjoyed Neil and Kathryn's visit with us in Florida.
I pray for her mom(my sister), her brothers and their wives and all those who were touched by Kathyrn's short life.
Because of my faith, I know that some day I will meet up with Kathryn and perhaps dance on the clouds of heaven.
All of God's Love, Mercy and Blessings, until we meet again,
Love, Uncle Lou, and Aunt Maureen (Bridget to some)

Dear Neil,
I still remember the day I came to your store last year and asked how Kathryn was doing and you informed me of your lost. I was instantly transported back to the day it happened as I watched briefly on television in Arizona as the tragedy unfolded. I am deeply sorry for the lost you and your in-laws have suffered! However, I want you to know that myself and the rest of my company are here in Afghanistan working diligently to make sure that no one shall suffer again a tragedy such as yours. You and Kathryn's family are in our prayers!

I couldn't believe it when my father said he saw you and that Kathryn was lost in the WTC disaster. I hope you are doing well despite this terrible loss. Please know that I am deeply saddened and even though I haven't seen you guys in a long time, you are in my thoughts.

Dear Neil and Family,
I remembered Kathryn today and all the days since last year when I called you and you told me She's missing. Even though I didn't spend Alot of time with Kathryn she was always kind and friendly to me and made me feel like I belonged. I always felt she had a rare quality to be so giving to someone she only knew as your friend's exgirlfriend. I remember the Halloween party at Hudson's in Riverdale where you were dressed as Batman(of course) and you dressed Kathryn as the Joker. You guys looked sooo great. I wish I knew her better.
My thoughts and prays are with you and your family today and everyday.

I miss her so much. I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't talk to her. She give me the encouragement I need to make it through the tough days. If you knew her you would understand. She had the quiet way of listening to you and calming you down when you were upset. Sunday I was working in my gardens, the same ones she was married in just a few years ago and all I could think of was that day and how pretty she was. I have attached a picture of her and myself just a few weeks before she died. I never got to thank her for all the help she was that day of the party. Kathryn Thank you for everything!

This whole 9/11 thing has and continues to be unreal to me. But reality sets in when I look at the NY skyline and the twin towers are gone! I feel this rush of emotions, angry - because I never stayed in touch with you like I should have after we left St. Joe's; sad - because I will never get a chance to see that beautiful smile, or let you know how special you were in my life; and happy because I know that an angel named "Kat" will be watching over us!
Be with God and rest in peace......

What a shocking day. I will never forget the events, or the first time my sister said, "Kathryn's missing." As kids, we were as close as sisters, and not just because we were cousins. I have many memories of growing up together, walking to St Monica's, schmoozing Mrs Sill for candy and steering clear of Scott and his friends! I remember your defiance at wearing those infamous blue shoes and the many, many nights my father would come home convinced he had another daughter because you stayed with us so often. I also remember when it took weeks for us to get up the nerve to bu a pack of cigarettes to see what it was like to smoke, but I won't tell!! Thanks, Kathryn. Although we lost touch as adults, I know we both had incredible fun together as kids.
Love,

Dear Neil, Aunt Anne, Scott, Lydia, Mark, Jeanne & Christopher,
I hold tight to the memories of our childhood. Growing up in the same building only a floor away and the fun we had. I know we weren't always as close as some cousins could be, as we all went our seperate ways. But I do want you to know that I am glad that you all have been coming to visit every Easter, for that was when we started to become closer and get to know each other again. Those are special times and will be treasured by all of us. We are so sorry for the loss of Kathryn and we can't even begin to express the sad feelings we share with you. May you find comfort within each other and within your memories of Kathryn. May the sympathy of those who care, make the sorrow of your heart less difficult to bear. We will never forget Kathryn, her spirit lives on. We love you. God Bless!

We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless

Katherine,
I'll never forget how radiant you looked on your wedding day! And how you always managed to have a smile...no matter what shenanigan Neil was up to. Sometimes it just doesn't take God very long to know which place your going to end up so he calls you early. If only we could recover from the loss more easily.

You were a special person, who brought laughter into our lives whenever we visited you. You and Neil let us be a part of your special day and to share your lives with ours. You were a favorite Aunt to Emma and more than a friend to Jennifer. We will never forget you.
