It is so unfortunate that I learned of this man Stanley Mccaskill with whom I share the last name and I am sure we are biologically related so I pray for his spirit. I pray that he is at rest and peace even though his last day was horrific. I was there, I watched those towers fall. I was there. My heart is broken, that I learned I knew someone who shared my name. His mother has the same name as one of my aunts, Ella Mae McCaskill of Angelus, Jefferson Township South Carolina.

Stanley, It was such an honor to know you and to have spent many wonderful and beautiful moments with you. We were engaged for a while, however, we didn't marry, but we remained friends. You had a loving family and I was glad to have met them. Rest in Peace!

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you during these trying moments. Stanley and I met while working at Alexander's. He always had a kind word and warm smile for everyone he encountered. My fondest memory - a group of us from work traveled to Shea Stadium to watch the Mets. Afterwards, we hung out at Flushing-Meadows Corona Park. My only regret, I did not keep in touch.
May you continue to stand on your faith and know that you will never walk alone. For the angel known as Stanley, will forever be by your side.

When my husband Edwin called me the first person he remembered who worked at the World Trade Center was his friend Stanley. I met Stanley a few weeks before my wedding with Edwin in 1996 and he was so nice to come and celebrate. I remember a very quiet man who my husband always admired for his love for his mom. Edwin had seen Stanley at the World Trade Center a few weeks before the attack and they had spent time remembering their good old days.
It was a pleasure to have met Stanley and we are both going to miss his smile.
We will always have you and Stanley in our prayers.
God bless you and your family.

To the McCaskill Family - You are in my prayers. I'am Aila. Veronica's Mommy and ex-girlfriend of Andrew Bailey. I spoke to Stanley on the phone that fateful morning asking for Andrew. He always picked up the phone when I called. When I was speakimg with Andrew on the phone that was when the first plane hit their building. Since then Andrew never called me back. I never met Stanley but my daughter Veronica has. She use to talk about him. I remember Stanley gave Andrew a burgendy sweater for Christmas. Veronica begged her Daddy to keep it. Andrew always talked about Stanley to me. When he spoke of him he talked about his Mother a lot. I always thought it was so sweet the love of his Mother and I thought it was beautiful. One time Andrew came home with a container of Stanley's mother cooking. I will always be thinking of you and I share my condolences with you. Stanley is a very bright Angel in heaven.
Yours truly,
Aila

We are very sorry for your loss of Stanley. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
