Pat,
I remember watching you run track for Georgetown. You were friends with one of my former students, Dan Schlitt. I was absolutely stunned when I heard you were one of the victims of that terrible day. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and keep you safe in His heavenly kingdom.

I was always so grateful to both you and Terry Sullivan for being by my side at my H.S. graduation. Only you guys know why that meant so much to me. We had so much fun remembering the great times at Terry's surprise 30th b-day party. You were always a true friend. There aren't enough words to describe how incredible you will always be. I miss you and am so grateful to have known you. You and your family are always in my prayers. God Bless!!!

I miss you Pat. You were such a great friend to me over the years. Always made me laugh - laugh so hard I could barely breathe. I still think of all the fun we had growing up. I think of how I felt when I would see you - so happy. You were and still are so special to me. I love you and I miss you.

Happy Birthday love. Always was, and forever will be, a day to celebrate you. I have been doing that for 27 years and don't plan on stopping. You deserve to be celebrated, then, now, always. I know you are thinking of me every May, and now, if I am lucky, I'm getting an extra blessing with your thoughts, prayers, and connections.Love you forever.

Pat was a classmate of mine at Xaverian (class of '87) and track teammate. I send my heartfelt sympathy to the Sullivan family. My brother Frank was killed that day as well. Since they worked just a few floors away I wouldn't doubt they ran into each other a few times. Here's to remembering a great guy, we'll see you again someday Pat.

Pat and I worked together at Prudential, and it was my pleasure to work along side him. After he moved on to Cantor, he never forgot his friends at PRU. We frequently got together for dinner and a Yankee game. I often think about Pat and all the laughs. May God Bless the Sullivan family on this day and everday. Pat, I miss ya bud.

I knew Pat when we were teenagers at Breezy. He was always such a nice and polite guy -- truly a class act. Pat, and his entire family, are in my thoughts and prayers as we near the five-year anniversary. May God bless you all..

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan,
As I recall the events of the past 23 months one of the thoughts that stand out are the Sunday services that NYPD chaplin Fr. Romano had for all of the families at Barclay St. HQ during the aftermath.
Through all the sadness week after week you both were there.
I have the button with Patrick's photo that was given to me by Mr. Sullivan.
I have no way of contacting you but I wanted you to know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Till we meet again.

My heart aches when I think that terrible day. Then I think of Pat, and then, I think of my childhood. I think of the times growing up with Jerry and how the Sullivan's always welcomed me into there house. I will always remember going to Breezy with them... Pat, I only remember you as being the little brother who was always quite. From reading these letters it sounds like you grew up to be a great man. May God bless the Sullivan's and everyone they love.

Patrick, what to say, it's been hard dealing with all this craziness the last year, you meant the world to ALOT of people. You are one of my best friends, always there, ready to listen, one hell of a son/brother. I just hold on to the good times and laugh, because that's what we did alot of when we were all together. I miss you more and more each day that passes,....

We kept waiting for the summer to pick up but it never did....something was missing. Next thing you know it's Mardi Gras, and again something missing, it just wasn't the same without you. All your friends miss you so much, we hold onto the memories.

I knew Patrick only as a small boy down in Breezy point. I used to go down there with the Gavigans and my niece, Karen. When Karen told me that Patty and Mary's son had been in the Trade Center, I just couldn't believe it. My sympathy and prayers go out to all his family and friends. He's in a better place, under God's wing.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I feel there is a special bond people of Breezy Point share with each other. You can not see someone for years and still feel as if you haven't missed a day of their life, the moment you see them again. Although the last time I saw Pat was about 2 and a half years ago, if I was able to see him again today, I know I'd get a big hug from him, share stories with him and laugh with him.
Pat was a fun loving person and will always be remembered.
My prayers go out to the entire Sullivan family.
