On this 21st year remembrance journey, as I scroll through the names & companies, I choose to think upon the person Anna was. Working in a large corporation as an admin assistant as I have been in this same career being loyal support for the "higher ups". Women like Anna are there to make others look good in their career while the hard work is done by workers like Anna. Thank you Anna for your support of all that you sacrificed inside that building. I cannot help to think of what you endured those last hours, but you being a supporting role to others, I can only imagine you were that way to the end. Thank you for being a strong supporting role to all of us still here supporting the "higher ups". You are remembered.

Yesterday my wife and I went to visit the September 11th memorial. Yours was the first name I saw, for some reason I was drawn to your name on the memorial. So today I felt compelled to find out more about you and I'm very glad I did. You represent the American Dream. Your name will never be forgotten. You and your family will be in my prayers every night.

Sweet Timmy, though I didn't know your Mommy she sounds like a wonderful woman and as a Mother myself I can imagine how much she must have loved you and loves you still. There are more tributes to her on the Cantor Fitzgerald website here http://www.cantorfamilies.com/cantor/jsp/tribute.jsp?ID=3366 . May you grow up strong and happy as I am sure you Mother would want. XXX

Dear Anna,
I don't remember 9/11, but our school has been very helpful by informing our students about it. Since it is the tenth year anniversary we have released red, white, and blue balloons in rememberance of all the victims of 9/11. Today we also planted Iris flowers along with the names of a victim. Then we had a moment of silence so we could say a prayer for you and your family. I am very sorry for what happend on that sad day.

Nature
As a fond mother, when the day is o'er,
Leads by the hand her little child to bed,
Half willing, half reluctant to be led,
And leave his broken playthings on the floor,
Still gazing at them through the open door,
Nor wholly reassured and comforted
By promises of others in their stead,
Which, though more splendid, may not please him more;
So Nature deals with us, and takes away
Our playthings one by one, and by the hand
Leads us to rest so gently, that we go
Scarce knowing if we wish to go or stay,
Being too full of sleep to understand
How far the unknown transcends the what we know.

Dear people who knew Anna,
today, as our world remembers one of the worst things done by humane beings to other humane beings, I am searching the web in hope to remember that the victims of that horrible day all had, faces, names, sons and doughters. Although I never knew Anna, I would like to express my deepest condolences and wishes for your wellbeing. I know that four years are nothing, and that it donest really go away. All I can wish you is that you keep on loving her even though she´s not here anymore, I´m sure that somehow she knows.

To the family and friends of Anna...I am a high school English teacher in Akron, Ohio. Today, all of our students at East High School are wearing a name tag corresponding with one of our fellow Americans killed on Sept. 11, 2001. I picked Anna, and want you to know that she has been with me all day, and that I will never forget her. Although my students and I study and discuss literary heroes all year, Anna is my true hero. May God Bless all of you, and may happy memories sustain you in your grief. Sincerely, Sue Hammond

Dear Friends and Family of Anna Debin-
My name is Morgan Becht and I am a student at CWPost. Today I sang in participation with the "Rolling Requiem," with hundreds of others. All who participated wore a badge with someone's name on it. Mine read, "9-11-01, Anna Debin, We will never foget." Although my family and loved ones were kept safe last year, today Anna became real to me and made me put a name and a face to the numbers of lives taken.
I wanted to take this time to thankyou for opening my eyes even wider as I, too, will NEVER forget.
Her memory is changing the lives of so many people... even today. Including mine.
Someone once told me, "At times like these... God brings you to your knees, leaving you no where to look... but up."
Again, thank you for this blessing.
~Morgan~

Family of Anna Debin.....
Today when we entered church, each of us was given a bracelet to keep on our arm until 9/12. Anna's name was on mine. I looked on this web site and found her picture. I feel a connection, now with her and her loved ones. Please know that our prayers and thoughs are with you at this time.
With prayers and love,

I was so sad to loose three firemen from FDNY, and then heard about Anna from my sister's family ... The Reilly's who helped care for Ann's son. My husband and I were able to go to Farmingdale and attend the beautiful service Anna's husband and family provided at St. Kilian's Church. Although we never met Anna, the memories of her photos, her husband, and her son will be forever in our hearts and mind. Jennifer & Melanie miss Anna very much, and love her son greatly! We are just grateful we could be there at her memorial service to support her family! Our love, thoughts, and prayers to you all!

I purchased a memorial bracelet which came with Anna's name on it. Although I did not know her, I will wear it always and keep Anna and all the victims and their families in my heart forever. The angels used to walk among us, now they soar above us.......

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

George & Timmy, my Mom and I send all our love. Anna was a dear friend to me and one of the most beautiful people I have ever met in my life. In this immense unfairness of her loss, always celebrate her. I will (with jugs of wine and Krispy Kreme donuts!) She will always be with me and you and Timmy and all those whom she loved. Not a nicer, kinder, tender person have I ever met. We are here for you if you need us. Much love.

It has now been over a month since Anna died yet my heart still aches for your loss. I did not know Tara but I want you to know my love is with your family. I pray God will once again show you happiness. Anna would want you to go on living for her.
