My good friend, fellow biker and proud Texan, Shaggy Scott, rode in yesterday's rally on Washington DC in your honor, Ms. Delie. Considering I have seen in your brief bios on various 9/11 tribute pages that you were a banking executive, I doubt you likely associated with us biker types all that my much. But know this: while we may not have hung out, we are honored to keep your memory alive. To your friends and family, we are so sorry for your loss, and my God pour his blessings on you in abundance for all your cherished days.

I knew Danielle for several years. She was the nicest people I've ever met. We became good friends. I will always remember our trip to Paris for New Year celebration. The best time I ever had! We had so much fun shopping, laughing, visiting her family and having the best New Year's dinner. I was shocked to find out about her passing. What a tragedy. She had so much life in her and so much love to give... I will always remember her...

Danielle,
I never knew you, but I was born in the neighboring town of Roudouallec where I believe your parents lived. Know that you are remembered by a fellow Bretonne here in the U.S. Bless your memory and your family.

I was Danielle's neighbor for years. What a wonderful, kind, happy person. I can remember meeting every morning on our way to work as we headed toward the elevator and parted ways when we reached the avenue. I have one particular vision of Danielle's smile that remains, and will so for a long time to come.
To her mother & father, friends and all those who loved her - my thoughts and prayers are with you.
She will be missed.

Danielle...I remember. We were classmates at Boston College and so much more. In life you learn from the people you meet and you may even be fortunate enough to take from them some of the strengths that they possess. I am a stronger man because I knew you. You are a very pleasant memory from the past and although we hadn't seen each other since 1974, I mourn your loss and pray for you. Heaven is a more cheerful place because you are there...far too soon. May GOD keep you and bless you in eternity.

I grew up next door to Danielle. She was older but I remember that she always had a smile on her face. She got that from her mother and father who are very nice people. I was at the WTC on 9/11 and as I read about people I knew I wish that I could have done more that day.

Here it is March 22, 2002, and I am sitting here stunned. I was searching these lists to obtain information for a friend when I came across Danielle's name. I hadn't seen her in twenty years, but I had the good fortune to meet her in 1969 and be her friend in those formative years so long ago. I'd like to say to those who knew her later in life that from the start she showed the qualities you admired. She always had the gifts of being smart, funny, beautiful, and most of all, warm-hearted. She possessed the rare talent of combining poise and elegance with a complete lack of pretension and true generosity of spirit. A simple conversation among friends was one of her greatest delights, and it became something special when she took part.
That her death reaches over so many years to touch a long-ago friend is a tribute to the life of an extraordinary person. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I had the privilege of working with Danielle until she left our company's employ a few years ago. Although our responsibilities differed and we did not directly work together, I considered Danielle as one of my closest work friends. Danielle had a wonderful winning smile and a great laugh. We often ate lunch together in the company kitchen while doing the daily crossword. Danielle's knowledge of French, specifically, and of all things in general usually allowed me to return to work sated that at least the crossword was a "fait acomplete". Danielle was a Katherine Hepburn type to me and a woman who a man could easily have as a friend. She was one of the guys!, My deepest condolences go out to Danielle's family and closest friends who must miss her terribly. God Bless her.

I found Danielle's photo in my 1972 Dominican Academy year book, after I read that she was one of the victims. Although we were not in the same class, I remembered her once I saw her face, and I offer my condolences on her loss.
